Our World

Yes, I know, I know!! I promised no more flowers from my world, but Mother Nature just keeps bringing more and more on – perhaps because we’ve had such an early and incredibly beautiful Spring or perhaps I’m just hooked on all the beauty as a result of growing up in a very small town in West Texas that had little more than sand and tumbleweeds!!!  Well, whatever, here are some more beautiful, colorful flowers for the season!! Hope all of you have a wonderful new week, filled with all the good things!!

Interesting to get a little background into your earlier years! Come to think of it the bush on the bottom right of this collection of florals reminds me of tumbleweed gone wild.

Beautiful flowers. Please keep showing them. I love those big blue ones - I think they might be hydrangeas - I used to see them years ago when I was very small. Thanks for sharing.

The PNW with all the precipitation is blessed with abundance of flowers in the springtime. I want to be there when it happens.

What Can I Say?

What Can I Say?
I'm interested in almost everything. Use to like to travel, but it's too expensive now. I take Tai Chi classes, swim, volunteer in a Jump-start program for pre-schoolers. I'm an avid reader and like nearly everyone these days I follow politics avidly. I'm a former teacher and Special Projects Coordinator for a Telecommunications company, Assistant to the President of a Japanese silicon wafer manufacturing company. Am now enjoying retirement -- most of the time. I have two daughters, one son-in-law and two sons scattered all over the country. No grandchildren.
