Summer has finally arrived in Seattle and I'm enjoying every day!!  I spent the good part of an afternoon on the roof, enjoying the gardens and the view of the mountains, the blue skies and warm sun! So, all but one of pics for the day are of the colorful flowers that people have grown. The last shot I just happened to see as I got off the elevator one afternoon and I couldn't pass it up!  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with lots of fun and laughter and all the good things!! Some Humor for Wednesday! We Need All We Can Get!!

United States in RECESSION  The recession has hit everybody really hard... My neighbor got a pre-declined credit card in the mail CEO's are now playing miniature golf. Exxon-Mobil laid off 25 Congressmen.. I saw a Mormon with only one wife. If the bank returns your check marked "Insufficient Funds," you call them and ask if they meant you or them. McDonald's is selling the 1/4 ouncer. Angelina Jolie adopted a child from America. Parents in Beverly Hills fired their nannies and learned their children's names. My cousin had an exorcism but couldn't afford to pay for it, and they re-possessed her! A truckload of Americans was caught sneaking into Mexico. A picture is now only worth 200 words. When Bill and Hillary travel together, they now have to share a room. The Treasure Island casino in Las Vegas is now managed by Somali pirates. History will re-name this President "Owe" Bama. And, finally.... I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Hotline. I got a call center in Pakistan, and when I said I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

After their baby was born, the new father who was  quite perturbed, went to  see his wife's obstetrician. 

'Doctor, said the man, I'm am quite upset because my daughter has red hair!'  'She can't possibly be mine!' 

'Nonsense!' the doctor said, 'Even though you, and your wife have black hair, one of your ancestor's may have contributed red hair to the pool.' 

'It isn't possible,' the man insisted.  'This can't be, our families on BOTH sides had jet black hair for generations!'  

'Well, said the doctor, let me ask you this, how often do you have sex?'

 

The man now embarrassed, replies

sheepishly, 'I've been working very hard for the last year, and we only made love once or twice every few months.'

Eeekk!! It's the E Day! Lend me your Ears! Time to Earn your keep with the ABCs! Don't close your Eyes or lean on your Elbows and above all, don't look Embarrassed! No need to get Edgy Either! Instead, make like an Eager beaver! I know you can be an Effective participant with a great Eye for Edibles like Eggs and Eggplant  and Éclairs -- you know, the Excellent stuff to Eat that start with the letter E! Don't worry about the Elections -- remember we always have access to the Electric chair!! So, Elevate your thoughts to grand things like Elephants and Eagles and beautiful things Everywhere! And what did I find for the day?  Excellent Edibles, an Eagle, Early Evening and Eggplant -- plus Everything else -- well more veggies,  just not all Es!

As many of you know, Klaus died on Thursday. We are all in a bit of shock. He was a wonderful and very talented man and he will be missed. Thank you for your kind words and thoughts.
